Last month, through extreme sacrifice and personal loss, Caitlin Boston paid off more than $200K in student loans all by her “freaking self”. She attributes a large part of her success to asking her male colleagues what they were making.

“Ask your other peers what they make — especially your male ones. It might make you feel uncomfortable but it’s the sole reason I started making an additional 41% a year.”

Mind blown! The resemblance is uncanny between the Stranger Things characters, Steve and Dustin, and the real world David Harbour and Patton Oswalt.

Stranger Things is the scariest thing I watch these days (a clear lightweight) and it’s totally worth the occasional involuntary squeak.

Helping Insects Flourish

Dutch design firm, Atelier Boelhouwer, and its principal designer, Matilde Boelhouwer, have set about bringing more blooms to urban spaces with the creation of the series Insectology: Food for Buzz.

The series includes artificial flowers that continuously provide a source of food through a self-sustaining system. These flowers will provide emergency nourishment to bees, bumblebees, hoverflies, butterflies, and moths all of whom are pollinators.
